Lea Halbwidl (born December 21, 1981 in Vienna ) is an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ). Since October 2018 she has been the head of the fourth Viennese district, Wieden .

Life

After graduating from high school, Lea Halbwidl began studying German at the University of Vienna , which she completed in 2008 with a diploma thesis on the subject of war theater and founding acts : the Arminius dramas JE Schlegels , FG Klopstocks and H. v. Kleists graduated with a Magistra .

In 1999 she began her political career with the Socialist Youth Wieden. In 2009 she became chairwoman of Volkshilfe Wieden and a member of the SPÖ district committee. From 2010 she was the deputy of District Chairman Leopold Plasch and chairwoman of the social commission in the district. On October 22, 2018, she was elected as the successor of Plasch as district head of Wieden.
