Leah Donna Dizon ( Japanese リア·ディゾン Ria Dizon ) (* 24. September 1986 in Las Vegas , Nevada , USA ) is an American fashion model and a J-Pop - singer . Her mother is French-American , her father is Filipino Chinese .

Life

Model

She began her career as a cover model for automobile magazines ( DSPORT , Import Tuner and Super Street ) and as a grid girl in car races in the USA. This earned her a large following in Asia, particularly Japan.

In October 2006 she brought out her first photo book Petite Amie , her second ハ ロ リ ア! Hello! Leah followed in February 2007.

Movie

She plays one of the leading roles in the 21-minute short film Traffic in the Sky (director: Charles Yi). This was presented on March 24, 2007 at the 25th annual International Asian-American Film Festival in San Francisco.

Singing career

They sent them a demo tape to a Japanese agency. When she received positive news in April 2006, she moved to Tokyo.

After her song Fever was only available as a download, she released her debut single Softly on February 14, 2007 under the record label Victor Entertainment . This single was able to secure 5th place in the daily and 7th place in the weekly Japanese Oricon charts in the first week .
