Leandro Lobato

Leandro Leite Lobato (born September 9, 1974 in Leorema , Liquiçá , Portuguese Timor ) is a politician from East Timor . He is a member of the Congresso Nacional da Reconstrução Timorense (CNRT) party.

Career

Lobato graduated from secondary school.

In the 2004/2005 elections Leandro Lobato was elected Chefe de Suco in his home country Leorema.

At number 22 on the CNRT's list, Lobato successfully entered the national parliament as a member of the parliamentary elections in East Timor in 2017 . Here he was secretary of the Ethics Commission (Commission G). After the dissolution of parliament in 2018, Lobato stood at number 32 in the new elections on May 12th of the Aliança para Mudança e Progresso (AMP), to which the CNRT also belongs, and moved back into parliament. He is now a member of the Commission on Foreign Affairs, Defense and Security (Commission B).
