Leandro de Carvalho Pinto Ribela (born March 22, 1980 in São Paulo ) is a Brazilian biathlete and cross-country skier .

Leandro Ribela lives in São Paulo and starts for EC Pinheiros . He is trained by Johan Hagstrom. He started cross-country skiing at the age of twelve, and in 2005 he started biathlon. A year later he competed in Obertilliach at the start of the Biathlon European Cup 2006/07 with a sprint race, which he finished in 127th, his first international race. The best result in this racing series was a 15th place in a pursuit race in Bansko , which he achieved in 2009. At the Biathlon European Championships 2007 in Bansko Ribela took part in his first major event in biathlon. It was also the first and so far only participation of a Brazilian in such an event. He finished 66th in the sprint and 61st in the pursuit and was penultimate and last of the races.

Ribela ran his first international competitions in cross-country skiing since 2007 and 2008 in FIS races . In Liberec he took part in the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2009 . In the freestyle sprint he came in 117th, the pursuit race he could not finish as a lapped athlete. Career highlight was the participation in the 2010 Winter Olympics from Vancouver , where Ribela 15-kilometer freestyle was used and there reached the 90th place. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo in 2011 he reached 110th place over 15 km classic and 106th place in sprint. She took 133rd place over 15 km freestyle and 105th place in the classic sprint at the 2013 Nordic World Ski Championships in Val di Fiemme . In February 2014, he ran his first cross-country world cup race in Toblach , which he finished with 78th place in the sprint. At the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi , he finished 80th in the sprint.
