Isabelle Häner

Isabelle Häner (born January 30, 1958 , resident in Lucerne , Zullwil and Grabs ) is a Swiss lawyer .

Life

After studying law, the Häner 1983 graduated, she was an assistant to Alfred Kölz in which it 1989 with a dissertation on the topic "Public Relations and Administration" doctorate . She was admitted to the bar after an audit at the District and Administrative Court of Zurich . From 1992 to 1997 she was senior assistant at the Institute of Law at the University of Zurich and wrote her habilitation thesis ( “Those involved in administrative procedures and administrative processes” ), which she completed in 2000. In the same year it has been given the University of Zurich, the Venia legendi for Heads of State and Administrative Law . She was appointed adjunct professor six years later.

Together with her teacher Alfred Kölz, Häner wrote a standard work on public procedural law, the third edition of which is currently being revised by the Swiss National Science Foundation . She is also the author and editor of numerous articles in the field of administrative law.

Häner has been working as a lawyer since 1997 . In 2000 she became a partner at Bratschi Emch Rechtsanwälte (now Bratschi Wiederkehr & Buob ). From 1995 to 2002 she was also a substitute judge at the Tax Appeal Committee  II and from 1995 to 2003 at the Administrative Court.

The media-effective mandates that Häner has performed as a lawyer include, among other things, representing the city ​​of Zurich in the dispute over wage discrimination among health workers and safeguarding the interests of communities and those affected in the east of Zurich airport in the dispute over the approaches to the south. For the Swiss Casino Association, she achieved that poker tournaments qualify as games of chance.

Häner also works as a reviewer . For example, she was commissioned by the Zurich City Council to clarify the incidents in the Borrweg school building in the Uto school district, and was co-author of the study on the processes and competencies in Zurich social welfare.

Häner represented the Affolten FDP in the Zurich Constitutional Council, which drafted the new constitution for the canton of Zurich from 2000 to 2004, and presided over it for the third year in office.

From 2003 to 2006 she was President of the Swiss Lawyers Association .
