Life and work

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Life and Work is the yearbook DLEH (German Landerziehungsheim) and the Lietz newspaper Life and Work.

history

The yearbook DLEH was kept by Hermann Lietz from 1898 and contains reports from the former rural education homes in Schloss Bieberstein , Schloss Buchenau , Haubinda and the rural orphanage Grovesmühle by himself and other authors who were appointed by Lietz. Hermann Lietz edited up to the 16th yearbook himself.

Life and Work (LuA) has existed parallel to the DLEH yearbook since 1909 and was continued after 1919 by old citizens in the "Association of Friends and Patrons of the Hermann Lietz Schools".

influence

Literature and research on topics relating to the practical implementation of the ideas of reform pedagogy in Germany in the early 20th century are largely based on the evaluation of the DLEH and L&A of the Hermann Lietz schools .
