Living wilderness

Living wilderness is a series of books about animals that is structured according to their habitats . Eight animal species of the respective habitat are described in detail in text and images in each book . The original edition was published in France by Societe des Periodiques Larousse from 1990 to 1993. The books were translated into German by Christoph Arndt , with Wilbert Neugebauer , the former director of the Stuttgart zoological-botanical garden Wilhelma , serving on the scientific advisory board. The book series was published from 1992 to 1995 by the publishing house Das Beste .
