Lee Addy (born July 7, 1990 in Accra ) is a Ghanaian soccer player .
Career
After a year abroad in the Lebanese Premier League with Tripoli SC , Addy returned to Ghana in 2008 and has since played for the first division club Bechem Chelsea . The defensive all-rounder, who is used not only in central defense, but also on the left outside or in defensive midfield, was voted the best defender of the season in his first year after his return.
He was then invited to a friendly game of the Ghanaian national team in Argentina with players from the local league. In his international debut on September 30, 2009, he showed a convincing performance and so he was allowed to contest his first tournament in the national jersey at the 2010 African Cup of Nations. He was used in four games over the full season.
After this rapid rise in the national team, he was also included in Ghana's 23-strong squad for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa .
