Lee Yul-woo

Lee Yul-Woo (* 25. January 1967 in Seoul , South Korea ; † 10. December 2009 ) was a South Korean boxer in the flyweight .

Professional career

On March 19, 1989 he boxed against German Torres for the WBC World Championship and won by technical knockout in round 9. However, he lost this belt in his first title defense to Humberto González in June of the same year by knockout.

On March 3, 1990 he became WBA world champion when he defeated Jesús Rojas by split decision. Also this time Lee lost the belt at the end of July of the same year in his first title defense against Leopard Tamakuma by TKo in round 10.

After this defeat, Lee ended his career.
