(1998)

Legendary Tales is the debut album by the Italian power metal band Rhapsody of Fire , which was then simply called Rhapsody.

The songs are already embedded in Luca Turilli's Emerald Sword Saga , a fantasy story about a warrior who has to find the Emerald Sword in order to stop and finally kill the evil king who attacks with his armies of demons.

The style is already very developed for a debut album, which is mainly due to the fact that the band had produced a demo long before the album was recorded and had spent a lot of time developing their style. The vocals were recorded last because the band didn't have a singer at the time of recording until Fabio Lione split from his band Labyrinth and joined Rhapsody.
