The Lehnberg (also Lehn ) is 447.7 m above sea level. NN high mountain in the Frauenseer Forst in the Wartburg district in West Thuringia , ( Germany ).

The Lehnberg is the highest elevation of a wooded ridge and is located between the places Frauensee , Gospenroda and Marksuhl .

The wooded secondary peaks also belong to the ridge

The Doliene Slope nature reserve is located northwest of the village and has a total area of 75.25 hectares . It was expelled on December 9, 1996.

The mountain, made of red sandstone, is strongly structured, the north and west side with Lehngräben, Bärengraben, Borngraben, the Lange Tal and other gorges drain into the Suhl valley.
