Leiba Salmanowitsch Rodman , Russian Лейба Залманович Родман (born June 9, 1949 in Riga ; † March 2, 2015 in Williamsburg ) was an Israeli mathematician who studied linear algebra and operator theory.

Rodman studied at the Latvian State University with a diploma in 1971 and at Tel Aviv University with a master's degree in 1978 and a doctorate with Israel Gohberg in 1978 ( Spectral theory of analytic matrix functions ). He was a post-doctoral student at the University of Calgary from 1978 to 1980 and then an assistant professor at Tel Aviv University until 1985. In 1985 he became associate professor and then professor at Arizona State University in Tempe and from 1987 he was professor at the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg.

He was married to Ella Levitan since 1983 and has four children.
