The Leibniger Tor , also Leibniger Törl, is 2515  m above sea level. A. high mountain peaks of the Schober group in East Tyrol ( Austria ).

location

The Leibniger Tor is located on the Hochschober-Westkamm in the far west of the Schobergruppe in the municipality of St. Johann im Walde . It is the last summit of the southeastern foothills of the Hochschober-Westkamm, whereby the mountain drops to the southwest into the Iseltal and to the south into the valley of the Leibnitzbach . The western and southern slopes of the mountain are forested by the Leibniger Forest and the Leibnitz Forest. The Leibniger Tor, which marks the entrance to the rear Leibnitz Valley, is connected by a ridge over the Obere Tor ( 2756  m above sea level ) to point 2.881, which is located in the Hochschober-West ridge between the Riegelkopf ( 2713  m above sea level). ) and the Kreuzspitze ( 2937  m above sea level ). The closest village is Oberleibnig (municipality of St. Johann im Walde).
