The Leichelberg is a wooded, 655.8 m high mountain in the Thuringian Rhön two kilometers east of Kaltensundheim , on whose area the summit is also located. Aschenhausen is at the eastern foot of the mountain . The southern slope is opened up for tourism by the Milseburgweg of the Rhön Club , which connects the cities of Fulda and Meiningen . There is a model airfield to the southwest below the Leichelberg .
