Emergence
The two Munich musicians combine electro hits with experimental craziness such as B. the increased use of a SIDstation , a MIDI controllable synthesizer based on the sound chip of the Commodore 64 , the MOS6581 (SID). The song Kernkraft 400 contained on the debut album is considered one of the most successful songs in electronic instrumental music . After its first release in March 1999 , it was licensed to Polydor in Germany , and a remix of the song reached high positions in the sales charts on various labels across Europe . "Kernkraft 400" also appears in the soundtrack of the zombie comedy Shaun of the Dead and in the HBO series The Sopranos . The original melody is part of the computer game music from the Commodore 64 game Lazy Jones from the 80s.
