The Leierloch nature reserve is located in the Sonneberg district in Thuringia .

It extends west of the core city of Steinach . The state road L 2657 runs south of the area and extends to the 114.2 hectare nature reserve Röthengrund , to the east runs the L 1148.

meaning

The 31 hectare area with the NSG no. 120 was placed under nature protection in 1961.
