Leif-Eric Andersson (born October 10, 1963 in Hamburg ) is a former German volleyball player .

Volleyball career

From 1970 to 1980 Leif Andersson was a volleyball player at TuRa Harksheide . He then played for Hamburger SV , where he won the German Cup in 1983 and 1985 and German champion four times in a row from 1985 to 1988 . After a one-year stint in Falconara (Italy), he continued his career at TSV Milbertshofen , where he won the German Cup in 1990 and German Champion in 1991 . Leif Andersson ended his successful career at ASV Dachau in 1994 .

Leif Andersson has been Germany's national team 208 times . In 2007 he was named the most valuable player of the last 20 years in the German Bundesliga in the "eternal" best lists of the volleyball magazine.

As a coach he was promoted to the Bundesliga in 1996 with the women of TV Dingolfing .

Leif Andersson is a trained banker and IT businessman. He has been active in the field of "medical training and advice" since 1996 and is currently managing partner of "AMS - die Akademie" (further training for physiotherapists, trainers and doctors) and "AMS Sales" (provision of suitable therapy and training equipment, including for sling training ) .
