Soccer

The TuRa footballers rose after many years in the lower divisions in 1965 in the Association League Hamburg, which was the second highest amateur league in Hamburg at the time. Two years later, the Harksheider had to descend again, before the ascent was successful in 1970 and the most successful period of the department was heralded. In 1972, the first qualification for the DFB Cup was only just missed when TuRa lost the final round game in the North German Cup against HSV Barmbek-Uhlenhorst 2-0 after extra time . A year later, it was promoted to what was then the national league , the highest amateur league, before it went down a class in 1975.

In 1976 the Harksheiders qualified for the DFB Cup and lost in the first round at the second division club SG Wattenscheid 09 with 1: 5. A year later , the Turans met SV Ottweiler from Saarland in round one . After a 1: 1 after extra time on their own pitch, it came to the replay, where the Ottweiler won just 2: 1. In the championship, the Harksheiders fought with 1. SC Norderstedt for local supremacy, which the Harksheiders should lose. In 1985 TuRa was relegated to the district league and returned two years later, before the march into the association league succeeded in the following 1987/88 season . Two years later, the Harksheiders got down again from the Hamburg upper house.

There TuRa was passed through to the district league and returned in 1994 to the state league. A year later, the Harksheider were runner-up and were about to march through to the association league. However, the team lost the decider against Blau-Weiß Schenefeld clearly with 0: 6. After another relegation, the team returned to the regional league in 2002 and later slipped into the regional league. In 2008 it went back up to the district league before making the leap into the state league five years later. The home venue is the Collatz + Schwartz Sportpark , which is also known as the parade ground .
