Peter Leidreiter (born July 16, 1966 ) is a former German handball player who was mostly used in the position of the center back area. He played for all three Schleswig-Holstein Bundesliga clubs .

Career

The 1.89 m tall right-hander was in the youth team with TuRa Harksheide Hamburg champion and with the Norderstedter SV German B-youth runner-up. After he reached 2nd place in the regional league with the Bramstedter TS , he moved to THW Kiel in 1987 , where he only played in the Bundesliga. Then he returned to Bad Bramstedt and rose to the 2nd handball Bundesliga . He then signed with Bundesliga club VfL Bad Schwartau . For the 1992/93 season he joined the third North Club SG Flensburg-Handewitt . In six years he was German runner-up twice and won the EHF Cup in 1996/97 . In 1998 he moved to DHK Flensborg in the regional league. After the trained IT businessman moved to Bavaria for professional reasons, he played for TSV Unterhaching in the Bavarian League. In the 2000/01 season he helped out again for four games at Bundesliga club TuS Nettelstedt .

Peter Leidreiter is married and has a daughter and a son.
