Leif Davidsen (2008)

Leif Davidsen (born July 25, 1950 in Otterup , Nordfyn municipality ) is a Danish writer.

He writes detective novels and political thrillers, which in many cases deal with the Balkan conflict or the collapse of Russia and its consequences. He worked as a news editor on Danish television and was a correspondent in Moscow from 1984 to 1988. Davidsen lives in Copenhagen.

In 1989 he received the Palle Rosenkrantz Prize for Den russiske sangerinde and in 1992 De Gyldne Laurbær from the Danish book trade for Den sidste spion .
