"Leipziger Blätter" is a culture magazine that appears twice a year in Leipzig and of which special editions are also published at random.

Foundation, appearance

The magazine was founded by the writer and literary scholar Helmut Richter .

The publisher is the Leipzig Cultural Foundation (since 1991). The Leipziger Blätter has been published since 1982 . The subjects of the magazine include urban history , art , music , architecture and preservation of monuments , environmental protection , book and publishing , urban and regional development. The sophisticated articles comment on the cultural development with a critical eye. Detailed sources are not listed.
