Leire Landa Iroz (born December 19, 1986 in Irún ) is a Spanish soccer player . The full-back took part in the 2013 European Women's Championship with the Spanish women's national team.

Athletic career

Landa started at Oiartzun KE when she was young , for whose women's team she made her adult debut in 2002. Then she went to Real Sociedad San Sebastián , where she ran up after a year in the youth team in the competition team. In 2009 she moved to Atlético Madrid within the Primera Division , in 2012 she returned to the Basque Country and joined Athletic Bilbao . In 2011 she made her national team debut under national coach Ignacio Quereda , at the European Championship finals in 2013 she was part of the squad of the national team. When the team eliminated in the quarter-finals against Norway , they had their only final round appearance, but could not avert the elimination.
