Lelija (Eng. ' Lily ') is the largest (in terms of number of employees) company in the textile and clothing industry in Lithuania . It produced around 1.5 million outerwear (textile clothing for men, women and children) annually. 80% were exported to Western Europe and Scandinavia . Suits, jackets, pants, coats, raincoats, skirts, shirts, blouses, vests, dresses and uniforms make up the range.

It has 9 specialized sewing shops . The factory also has its own professional training center for sewing operators. The company has offices in 6 cities. "Lelija" also has its own commercial network: 28 clothing stores, 3 cafés ( Vilnius , Molėtai , Širvintos), 1 hotel (in Širvintos ) and 1 resort (in Pailgis near Pabradė ).

history

In 1947 the company was registered in Soviet Lithuania . In 2001 it achieved sales of 34 million litas . In 2011 it owed 832,500 litas (241,000 euros) to the state alone. There used to be 1,500 employees. In 2016 "Lelija" employed 1,076 people.
