The Lena Passage ( Russian Проход Лена Prohod Lena ) is a 800 m wide strait between the Vetrov Hill on the coast of the East Antarctic Queen Marie-country and the southwestern part of the Davis Sea offshore Haswell Islands .
Soviet scientists mapped it in 1956 and named it after their research vessel Lena .
