Leo Bersani
Leo Bersani (born April 16, 1931 ) is a literary theorist and retired professor of French at the University of California, Berkeley .
Bersani works as a visiting lecturer at the Collège de France , Paris, as well as at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales and as a visiting professor at the Dept. of Romance Languages, Harvard University .
In his book Homos, Bersani notes, among other things, that not only has homophobia become more violent, but that more and more gays and lesbians themselves are reluctant to be identified as homosexuals.
