Leo Eichstaedt

Leo Eichstaedt (born November 24, 1855 in Pien, Kulm district ; † April 27, 1929 ) was a German judge and parliamentarian.

Life

Leo Eichstaedt studied law at the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität and became active in the Corps Marcomannia Breslau in 1879 . He moved to the University of Leipzig , where he also joined the Corps Guestphalia Leipzig in 1880 . He finished his studies at the Friedrich Wilhelms University in Berlin . After passing his exams, he entered the administration of justice in Prussia and became a district judge in Marienwerder . From 1904 until his early retirement on September 1, 1909, Eichstaedt sat for the constituency Marienwerder 1 (Stuhm, Marienwerder) in the Prussian House of Representatives . From 1906 to 1909 he was Secretary of Parliament. He belonged to the faction of the Free Conservative Party . Most recently he was the syndic of the New West Prussian Landscape in Marienwerder.
