Leomar Albarran

Leomar Albarran (born February 29, 1992 ) is a Venezuelan weightlifter .

Career

Albarran won the bronze medal in the Pan American Championships in the class up to 94 kg in 2009. In 2010 he won the silver medal at the South American Games in Medellín . At the Central America and Caribbean Games in Mayagüez in the same year he won silver in the class up to 105 kg. In 2011 he was second in the international Simon Bolivar tournament in the class up to 94 kg. At the Pan American Championships 2013 in Isla Margarita he started again in the class up to 105 kg and reached sixth place. Shortly afterwards, however, he was tested positive for testosterone during a training control and banned by the world association IMF for two years.
