Leon Jeanne

Leon Charles Jeanne (born November 17, 1980 in Cardiff ) is a Welsh football player .

The midfielder began his career with the Queens Park Rangers in the English First Division . The club was relegated in 2001 and he moved to league rivals Cardiff City . Just a few weeks after switching, he tested positive on a doping control and received a two-year suspended sentence. With Cardiff he won the FAW Premier Cup 2001/02. At the end of May 2002, Jeanne was again drawn for a doping test. Upon analysis, it was found that the liquid he dispensed was not urine. He refused to offer another test, so he was banned. After his suspension, he went to the League of Wales and played at Port Talbot Town , Barry Town , Afan Lido FC and Carmarthen Town, as well as several lower-class clubs in Wales and England.
