Leonard William Tancock
Leonard William Tancock (born October 6, 1902 , † May 3, 1986 ) was a British Romance scholar , French writer and translator.
life and work
Tancock was Professor of French at University College London . Since it was founded in 1930, he has published the bibliographic journal The Year's work in modern language studies and has translated numerous classical texts from French.
