Leonas Lešinskas

Leonas Lešinskas MIC (* 14. February 1924 in Pailiai , Šiauliai District Municipality , Šiauliai County , † 16th September 2004 in Marijampole , Lithuania ) was a Lithuanian Roman Catholic priest and theologian.

Life

In 1951 he graduated from the Kaunas seminary and received his doctorate in theology in 1967 . In 1950 he joined the Marians . From 1950 he was vicar in Kaišiadorys , from 1963 to 1968 he taught at the Kaunas seminary and was prefect of studies. From 1993 to 1998 he taught at the Marijampolė Higher Education School and at the Catechist School in the Vilkaviškis Diocese . From 1993 he was an altarist in Marijampolė. In 1995 he received his habilitation doctorate.
