Leonhard Euler gold medal
The Leonhard Euler Gold Medal ( Russian Золотая медаль имени Леонарда Эйлера ) was named after the Swiss mathematician and physicist Leonhard Euler . Since 1991 it has been awarded by the Russian Academy of Sciences for excellence in mathematics and physics. It has been awarded every five years since 1997.
