The North Bay ( English for North Bay ) is a small bay on the west coast of the Antarctic Ross Island . It is located on the north side of Cape Evans .
Participants of the Terra Nova Expedition (1910-1913) led by the British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott , whose base camp was on Cape Evans, gave it its descriptive name.
