Leonhard Heiden

Leonhard Heiden (born October 24, 1919 in Nuremberg ; † December 14, 1999 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Heiden attended elementary school and secondary school in Nuremberg, trained as a businessman and finished it with the exam. After he was used in the war , he attended the Nuremberg University of Applied Sciences , which he left with the final exam. In 1956, the social welfare office entered into local politics. He was the second mayor of the still independent community of Fischbach near Nuremberg and chairman of the SPD parliamentary group in the district council of Nuremberg . In 1962 he was elected to the district assembly of Middle Franconia , in 1966 he moved to the Bavarian state assembly . After first moving in via the constituency list, he won the direct mandate in the Nuremberg-South constituency in 1974 . In 1978 he left the state parliament.
