Pablo Pallante , full name Pablo Antonio Pallante Mieres (born February 14, 1979 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player . He also has Italian citizenship.

Career

The, according to his club's 1.79 meters tall, Palla said defender began his career with the Montevideo Wanderers , where he in 1998 the squad in the Primera División belonged. In 2000 he was transferred to Maldonado, around 130 kilometers further east, to the local first division club Deportivo Maldonado . There he played until 2002. The relegation battle in 2001 was followed by fourth place in the Torneo Apertura 2002 and seventh place in the overall table, which meant that they did not qualify for the Liguilla Pre Libertadores . Subsequently, in 2003 and 2004 it joined the Plaza Colonia, located in Colonia del Sacramento . The sporting situation of his new employer turned out to be even worse, because the narrowly avoided relegation in the first year of his membership in the club, in which he recorded 22 appearances, was not followed by any improvement in the following year with the last place in the overall table. In 2005 he returned to Montevideo, joined the Club Atlético Cerro and was active there the following year. His career path took him abroad for the first time in the 2007/08 season. He signed a contract with the Italian Serie B club Grosseto . There are no missions for him there. In the Clausura 2008 he ran again for Cerro and completed eleven games in the Primera División in the first half of the year. Also in the season 2008/09 he was in the ranks of the Montevideans and contributed as a regular player to the successful performance of the team. Third placed, they qualified for the Copa Artigas 2009 , in which they finally got the right to start the subsequent Copa Libertadores competition with the help of Pallante three times . For the 2013/14 season he moved to Miramar Misiones within the league . In that season he completed 24 games (two goals) and was relegated with the club from the Primera División. At the end of August 2014, he joined the second division Villa Española . There he was used 13 times (no goal) in the Segunda División in the 2014/15 season . After the season he left the club with an unknown destination.

National team

Pallante was a member of the Uruguayan national youth team , which took part in the U-20 South American Championship in Argentina in 1999 and finished second.
