Leopold Doctor

Leopold Doctor (born December 30, 1812 in Frankfurt am Main ; † May 4, 1872 ibid) was a German businessman and politician .

Doctor, who was of Jewish faith, lived as a merchant in the Free City of Frankfurt . There he was also politically active. From 1863 until the end of the Free City in 1866 he was a member of the city's legislative body and after its annexation by Prussia he was no longer politically active.
