Leopold Hofmann (politician)

Leopold Hofmann (born February 1, 1896 in Theisseil , † June 28, 1963 in Regensburg ) was a German politician .

Hofmann worked from 1920 to 1933 as managing director of the German Construction Trade Association in Regensburg. From 1937 he worked for the Deutsche Reichsbahn , later as Reichsbahn chief inspector and wages and workers' department at the Reichsbahndirektion Regensburg .

After the end of the Second World War he was a member of the state constitutional assembly in 1946 and from December 1, 1946 to November 28, 1954, as a member of the SPD, a member of the Bavarian state parliament . Hofmann took part in the Federal Assembly in 1949 and 1959 as one of the delegates of the Bavarian State Parliament . From November 1, 1955 until his death, he was a representative of the trade unions in the Bavarian Senate .
