Leopold von Klencke

Wilhelm Leopold von Klencke (born June 24, 1806 in Leveste in the Electorate of Braunschweig-Lüneburg , † January 5, 1871 in Hämelschenburg ) was a Hanoverian district administrator and councilor.

Life

Leopold von Klencke was born on June 24, 1806 as the son of the royal Dutch colonel and Hanoverian district administrator Georg Ludwig Wilhelm Ignaz von Klencke, lord of Hämelschenburg and Langreder , and Elisabeth Sophie Wilhelmine von Klencke, née. Freiin v. Knigge was born in Leveste in the Electorate of Braunschweig-Lüneburg . From 1822 Leopold von Klencke studied law at the University of Göttingen and in the meantime at the University of Heidelberg . During his studies in Göttingen he became a member of the Corps Hannovera .

He was the owner of the Hämelschenburg , Langreder and Lügde estates . After a two-year trip through Europe, he became an official assessor in the Kingdom of Hannover in 1829. In 1843 he was appointed royal Hanoverian district administrator and was landscape councilor for the Calenberg-Grubenhagen knighthood .

In his first marriage he was born in 1834 with Paulowna Wilhelmine Ernestine Marie. Freiin v. Etiquette married. From this marriage a son was born. In his second marriage, he married Friederike Charlotte Luise, nee von Meding, from the Schnellenberg family in 1841 . From this marriage two sons were born. Leopold von Klencke died in Hämelschenburg at the age of 64.
