Leopoldo Alas Mínguez
Leopoldo Alas Mínguez , known as Leopoldo Alas (born September 4, 1962 in Arnedo , La Rioja , Spain , † August 1, 2008 in Madrid ) was a Spanish writer and great-nephew of the author Leopoldo Alas "Clarin".
Life
Alas Mínguez completed a degree in Italian Philology and devoted himself to all literary genres. Between 1987 and 1992 he headed Signos magazine , which he founded with Daniel Garbade and Luis Cremades . Since 1986 he has written numerous articles for magazines and newspapers such as El Mundo and the gay magazine Zero . He was one of the most important authors of Spanish gay literature. Leopoldo Alas died of pneumonia in 2008 at the age of only 46.
