Leovigildo Hornay

Leovigildo da Costa Hornay (also Leovigildo Hornai ) is an East Timorese politician. From 2015 to 2017 he was State Secretary for Youth and Sport.

Career

On February 16, 2015, Hornay was sworn in as State Secretary for Youth and Sport as part of the government reshuffle. Before that he was President of the Conselhu Nasional Juventude Nasinal Timor Leste CNJTL ( German National Youth Council of East Timor ) for several years .

From 2007 to 2017 Hornay was one of five members of the State Council of East Timor appointed by the President ,

When the VII government took office in 2017, Hornay left the cabinet. Osório Costa became the new State Secretary for Sport , the Youth Department was linked to the Labor Department and Nívio Leite Magalhães was assigned as State Secretary.
