Lerau is a place in the Upper Palatinate . The formerly independent community is now part of the Leuchtenberg market .
geography
The place is 1.2 kilometers northeast of Leuchtenberg am Leraubach. The Lerautal has been a nature reserve for a length of one and a half kilometers since 1938 .
history
The municipality Lerau 1818 by the Gemeindeedikt built in Bavaria. On January 1, 1972 Lerau was incorporated into Leuchtenberg.
