Les Charbonniers de l'enfer ("The Coal Traders of Hell") is an a cappella folk band from Québec , Canada .

The band has existed since 1993 and is considered to be the first group in Québec to specialize in singing traditional music unaccompanied. The musicians themselves have been part of the regional folk music scene for more than 30 years. The instrumental accompaniment is limited to the jew's harp and foot tapping . The musicians also work in other projects and the Charbonniers' appearances are comparatively rare. Two former members of La Bottine Souriante (Michel Bordeleau and André Marchand) will also be there.

The lyrics come from folklore and deal with the problems of love, marriage and religion.

In 2003 and 2006 the group won the Félix Award of ADISQ (Association québécoise de l'industrie du disque) for the best traditional album of the year.
