Les Tremayne

Les Tremayne (born April 16, 1913 in London , England , † December 19, 2003 in Santa Monica , California ) was a British film and television actor and radio host.

Life

Tremayne started working on the radio when he was 17 years old. His first radio show was The Adventures of the Thin Man .

Tremayne began his acting career in the 1950s. He was known for his feature-length films such as A Man Called Peter , Gangster , Clash of the Worlds and The Monster of Piedras Blancas . Between 1974 and 1977 Tremayne appeared in the television series Shazam! on.

In 1995 Tremayne was elected to the Radio Hall of Fame .
