Lester Carney
Lester Carney ( Lester Nelson "Les" Carney ; born March 31, 1934 in Bellaire , Ohio ) is a former American sprinter .
At the 1959 Pan American Games in Chicago, he won the silver medal in the 200-meter run .
In 1960 he was US runner-up over the same distance and won silver at the Olympic Games in Rome with his personal best of 20.6 seconds behind Italian Livio Berruti (20.5 seconds) and ahead of Frenchman Abdoulaye Seye (20.7 seconds) .
