Leszek Roman Cichy (born November 14, 1951 in Pruszków ) is a Polish mountaineer.

On February 17, 1980, Cichy and Krzysztof Wielicki made the first winter ascent of Mount Everest . He is the first Pole to climb all the highest peaks on the continents - the so-called Seven Summits . With the ascent of Gasherbrum II (1975), Makalu (1978) and K2 (1982) he also climbed three more eight-thousanders. Among other things, he climbed Mount McKinley in 1989 and Mount Vinson in 1998 .
