The Lethwarte is a field observatory south of the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt . The building is registered in the local register of monuments as an architectural monument and also as a ground monument.

The listed waiting room belongs to the Quedlinburg waiting and ditch system and represents the southern outpost of the waiting system. It is located immediately west of the road from Quedlinburg to Rieder .

The control room is 15 meters high and is made of sandstone blocks on a round floor plan. There are extensive moats and ramparts in the vicinity of the Lethwarte.
