Latvian ice hockey cup
The Latvian Hockey Cup is the national cup competition of Latvia in hockey . It was held in 1995, 1999, 2007, 2008 and since 2015. The record winner is HK Liepājas Metalurgs and HK Mogo with three titles each.

The first edition of the cup competition was played in 1995 and was only limited to a final between two teams, when the regular Pārdaugava Riga, active in the league operation of the International Hockey League, met Essamika Ogre and secured the cup with a 7-2 victory. Four years later, a second edition of the Latvian Cup competition took place. The mode changed largely; after a qualifying round with eight teams, each of which played two games with the same opponent, the tournament was continued with the quarter-finals, although the form of the tournament remained unchanged. Only in the third semi-final duel between the eventual cup winners HK Liepājas Metalurgs and HK Lido Nafta Riga was there any need for an extension .
It was not until August 2007 that the Latvian Cup competition started to be held again. After a group stage with two groups of three teams each, the two group winners and the runners-up qualified for the semi-finals. The semifinals and the finals were played in the same format as eight years earlier. For the fourth edition of the competition, the format changed as follows: In August and September 2008, five teams took part in the cup competition and each played eight games in a group stage. The top-ranked team finally won the trophy, so that the knockout phase was completely omitted for the first time.
