Danish ice hockey cup
The Danish Hockey Cup is the national cup competition in Denmark in Hockey . The competition took place for the first time in 1998. It has been held annually since the 2001/02 season. The event has been organized by Danmarks Ishockey Union since the 1988/89 season . Like the Danish Ice Hockey League, the trophy currently bears the name of the sponsor Arbejdernes Landsbank (German: National Employees Bank). After the cup bore the name of the loan company BRF in the first season , the companies Toms Schokolade , Scandic Hotels , Air Canada and A-Frost were sponsors of the tournament.
