The 2009/10 AL Bank Cup was the 11th edition of the Danish Ice Hockey Cup since 1997 . The event is organized by the Danish Ice Hockey Federation. Like the Danish Ice Hockey League, the cup bears the name of the sponsor Arbejdernes Landsbank (German: National Employees Bank ).
Participant and mode
At the discharge of the Danish Ice Hockey Cup in 2009/10 all the teams took the previous year's first Danish league and more of the first division part. The lower class teams had to qualify for games against the higher class teams. The two qualifiers met the last two in the previous year's final table, but could not prevail and missed the quarter-finals, where the first division clubs stayed among themselves. With the exception of the group matches, qualification and the final, the comparisons were made with the first and second leg.
Preliminary round
In the preliminary round, the teams of the 1st division played one participant each against each other for the quarter-finals qualifying matches.
