The Leutschachhütte is a mountain hut owned by the Zimmerberg section of the Swiss Alpine Club (SAC) in the canton of Uri in Switzerland .
It lies between the Obersee and the Nidersee in the Leitschach (valley) above Intschi , at an altitude of 2209 meters.
The hut has a special history because it was an exhibit at the 1939 National Exhibition in Zurich. It was built in 1940 in the Leutschachtal and offered 19 places and 12 additional emergency camps.
The hut can be reached from Intschi or Amsteg by cable car to Arnisee , from there in 2.5 hours or from Intschi via Hinter Arni in approx. 5 hours.
