history

Lebacher Volksbank

In 1895 the Lebach savings and loan association with unlimited liability was founded by 27 founding members from Lebach, Landsweiler , Eidenborn , Niedersaubach and Rümmelbach. On June 29, 1922 the company was changed to Lebacher Volksbank eGmuH with a membership of 320. The first mergers took place in 1964 and 1968. The Raiffeisenkasse Steinbach -Dörsdorf, Raiffeisenkasse Gresaubach , Raiffeisenkasse Körprich and Raiffeisenkasse Reisbach were taken over.

Eppelborner Volksbank

The Eppelborner Volksbank had its origins in 1901. 28 members founded the Eppelborner Savings and Loan Association eGmuH. Through numerous mergers in the following years, the company name was changed to "Eppelborner Volksbank eG" and the bank had eight branches.

Raiffeisenbank Wiesbach

The Raiffeisenbank Wiesbach was founded in 1902 by 79 Wiesbach citizens and, as a small independent bank without branches, had only one seat in Wiesbach . In addition to the usual banking business, she ran a building materials and fuel trade and had a wide range of gardening and home improvement items. This Raiffeisen store will continue today after the merger. The subsidiary RBW Immobilien GmbH was and is still responsible for the business area from development of building land to marketing, planning and financing to turnkey construction.

Mergers

In 2003 the Lebacher Volksbank and the Eppelborner Volksbank became the levoBank Vereinte Volksbanken Lebach Eppelborn eG. With the merger, the bank's new logo was introduced. Before that, the business premises in Lebach were fundamentally rebuilt and modernized. In 2009 levoBank eG was created from the merger with Raiffeisenbank Wiesbach. After the merger, Raiffeisenbank Wiesbach bears the addition “branch of levoBank eG”.
